President Steve Morris opened the March 19 meeting by ringing the bell. After everyone recited the pledge of allegiance, guests were welcomed. They included:

Jexsi Gray and Jan Magot, both from Uplift San Diego.

Foundation President Gordon Boerner welcomed our speakers from Catalyst of San Diego and Imperial Counties, Megan Thomas and Melissa Leon.

• Monica Ball is partnering with Laurels for Leaders to support college prep activities, and she was also honored to be in San Diego Business Journal
• Jay Jeffcoat was honored to be pictured in Giving Back magazine
