President Steve Morris rang the bill to open our annual luncheon celebrating scholarship recipients.

After reciting the pledge of allegiance, he welcomed students and staff from:

• Cal State San Marcos

• Point Loma Nazarene University

• UCSD

• University of San Diego

• Coronado High School
• San Diego High School
• St. Augustine High School

Foundation President Gordon Boerner gave a history of the Foundation, followed by Scholarship Chair Brittany Curran's history of that committee.

Vice President Justin Morris invited the scholars up to answer questions about their experiences in school and plans for the future.

President Morris invited students to considering joining Kiwanis after graduation, and then welcomed Bill's Bucks from the members recognizing their achievements.

We were encouraged by our scholars and excited to follow their futures.
