Coach Dutcher’s career began at South Dakota State and included nine formative years at the University of Michigan before he followed Coach Steve Fisher to San Diego State. Since stepping into the head coach role in 2017, he has taken the Aztecs to new heights.

Under his leadership, SDSU has achieved a 75.3% winning record, earned multiple Mountain West Conference titles, and made four unforgettable appearances in March Madness. Most memorably, Coach Dutcher guided the team to the 2023 NCAA National Championship Game in Houston, a milestone that electrified fans across the nation.
