Playhouse Build Day
with San Diego Habitat for Humanity
In partnership with the San Diego Habitat for Humanity, we will build a playhouse that will be gifted to one of Habitat's families or a children's center in San Diego County.
Minors must be accompanied by at least 1 adult.
August 3, 9:00 am - noon
8128 Mercury Court, San Diego 92111
Where to park: Please find parking on the street surrounding the building. You may park in the administrative parking lot (between buildings 8148 and 8128) including the EV spots, whether or not you have an electric vehicle. The playhouse build will take place behind the 8128 administrative building. Please enter the second driveway on the left/west side on Mercury Point.
What to wear/bring: Wear clothes you can get dirty. You will get paint on you! Must have on durable, close-toed shoes. We suggest tennis shoes or work boots. Wear or bring sunscreen and hat. Please bring a refillable water bottle. We will have more water on site for anyone who needs it.
What to expect: We'll spend the shift building and painting the playhouse(s). We provide all the materials, tools, and safety equipment, and our playhouse leaders will be there to train you. No experience is necessary!
