Andy Hill has been a USS Midway Museum volunteer since 2006 and is currently a Docent Watch Shift Leader, public speaker, and co-chair of the Docent Continuing Education program.

Lieutenant Commander Hill is a Gulf War veteran having served 27 years in the U.S. Navy aboard nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. After his retirement as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer in the naval nuclear propulsion program, he worked in the defense industry as a Senior Principal Engineer for L-3 Communications, developing military mission application software, and recently retired from a long career in civil service as an Engineer with the U.S. Army.

A native of Tennessee, Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Systems Technology. His personal interests include maritime technology and military history.
