The San Diego Kiwanis Club Foundation announces the 2020 Centennial Community Wide Impact Project Request for Proposals beginning Monday, September 30, 2019. Our organization is inviting qualified nonprofit charitable organizations serving the youth of our region to submit a grant funding request to the San Diego Kiwanis Foundation as part of its special Centennial $100,000 Matching Community Wide Impact Project (CWIP). All applications must be submitted online by midnight, Friday, October 18, 2019.
The San Diego Kiwanis Foundation is making $100,000 in matching funds available to be spent for a "good works" project/program serving youth in San Diego and/or Baja California.
Distribution of Matching Funds
The Matching Grant will be payable by the San Diego Kiwanis Club Foundation (“Kiwanis Foundation”) to the 2019-20 Centennial CWIP Awardee (“CWIP Awardee”) on or before April 30, 2020. The CWIP Awardee donations eligible for this matching grant will be reported to the Kiwanis Foundation by April 15, 2020 and upon the approval by the Foundation, the Matching Grant will be paid by the Kiwanis Foundation to the CWIP Awardee.
The CWIP Awardee agrees to provide the Kiwanis Foundation with an accounting of the gifts made by donors during the term of this matching period that are eligible for matching grants and will provide any other documentation or information related thereto, as requested by the Foundation.
