Community Wide Impact Project

The San Diego Kiwanis Club Foundation is making a $20,000 grant available out of the Foundation’s annual funding budget to be spent for a youth-focused "good works" project in San Diego and/or Baja California. The Foundation Board has the capacity at any time to vote additional funds from the Foundation corpus to augment the CWIP fund for a worthy project meeting the above requirements. However, the target amount of $20,000 should be used as a general guideline for funding request. Past grants funded have included programs/projects that meet the application criteria and demonstrate:

1. Significant measureable impact of the program/project serving youth in the San Diego and/or Baja California region

2. A component of permanency – continuing rather than one time program; capital projects also have been funded

3. A significant recognition component for the Kiwanis Club of San Diego and its San Diego Kiwanis Club Foundation

All applications must be submitted online by midnight on July 30, 2018. Please be aware that late applications will not be considered.

The application can be filled out below. Please note that as we transition to this online application format below, submitting organizations will need to complete the application with attachments (including an e-signature) entirely then hit the submit button.

For any additional information, please contact Chuck Day, chair of the CWIP Committee.
